About the Hall and Its Origins

The Hall was opened in 1983, the culmination of 12 years of the efforts of a team of volunteers. The history is well worth a read - to get an appreciation of the dedication that was shown in raising the funds, acquiring the land and building the hall, to give us the fantastic facility we enjoy today.

We were delighted in 2010 to be able to carry out a significant programme of extension and development work. This was further augmented in 2012 by the installation of a 10kWp solar array, giving invaluable FiT income and significantly reducing our electricity bills. In 2017 we had a full refit of the ladies, gents and accessible toilets.

The facilities at the hall are excellent, hence why it is suited to such a wide range of activities, as you will find through the What's On page.

The hall can be hired for private functions or a professional event.

Grimsargh Village Hall (CIO) is a charity that runs the establishment.
